One mark. Every icon file a platform asks for.

Draw at 1024, watch the masks iOS and Android will apply while you work, and export the whole set as one zip - the Xcode asset catalog, the adaptive icon, the .icns and the favicons. It is all generated in your browser.

Start an icon

01

One drawing, every size

App icons are drawn once at 1024 - the largest size any platform asks for - and everything smaller is rasterised from it. The dashed guides on the canvas are the shapes the platforms will cut: the iOS squircle and the circle Android keeps as its adaptive-icon safe zone. Keep what matters inside them and the mark survives every launcher.

02

Finishes that belong to a shape

Liquid glass, gloss, matte and brushed metal are recipes of light and shade, and each one can be applied to the shapes you have selected rather than to the whole icon. Select a shape, pick a finish, and it is clipped to that shape - so the highlight sits on the mark and not on the plate behind it.

  • Solid, linear and radial fills, with as many stops as the artwork needs
  • Per-shape and per-fill opacity
  • A layer list with names, visibility, locks and drag reordering
  • Every finish is drawn with gradients, so the export matches the canvas exactly

03

The files each platform actually reads

Not a folder of PNGs to sort out yourself. The zip carries what the tools expect, in the layout they expect it, with the manifests written.

  • iOS: AppIcon.appiconset with Contents.json and the 1024 marketing icon
  • Android: launcher PNGs at mdpi through xxxhdpi, adaptive foreground and background, and the 512 Play Store icon
  • macOS: a .icns file and the Xcode asset catalog sizes from 16 to 1024
  • Web: favicon.ico at 16, 32 and 48, a 180px touch icon, 192 and 512 PNGs and a web manifest

04

Nothing is uploaded

Every size is rasterised on a canvas in your browser and the zip is assembled in memory. No server renders your icon, and nothing is stored anywhere you did not put it. The web set is free; the iOS, Android and macOS bundles come with the paid plan.

Questions

What sizes and files do I get?
For iOS, an AppIcon.appiconset with Contents.json and the 1024 marketing icon. For Android, launcher PNGs from mdpi to xxxhdpi, an adaptive icon foreground and background, and the 512px Play Store image. For macOS, a .icns plus the asset catalog sizes from 16 to 1024. For the web, favicon.ico at 16, 32 and 48, a 180px apple-touch-icon, 192 and 512 PNGs, and a web manifest.
Can I import a logo I already have?
Yes. Import an SVG and the shapes arrive editable rather than flattened, so you can still move a point. You can also drop in a PNG or JPEG as a tracing image and draw over it; a tracing image is never exported.
Can an iOS icon be transparent?
No. Apple puts black behind anything left open, so an iOS icon needs a background that reaches every edge. Glyphic shows you that background while you draw and warns you if you turn it off.
Is it free?
The web set - favicon.ico, touch icons and the manifest - is free and needs no account. The iOS, Android and macOS bundles come with the paid plan.
Do I need a designer to use it?
No, but it is a drawing tool rather than a template gallery. You draw the mark, or bring in an SVG you already have, and Glyphic handles every size, mask and manifest after that.
